Biggest Loser Night!

I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m obsessed with show The Biggest Loser! I have watched the last 4 seasons religiously and I can’t get enough. The show really helps my motivation to workout and stay on track. I figure, if they can do it when they are so overweight, so can I right?!  Side note: They also have great cookbooks that I found at A.C.Moore for $5 each!


This season the theme of the show is “no excuses” which really rings true for me.  I feel like I’m always making excuses and not holding myself accountable for my eating/exercise. But on Biggest Loser night, I get my fitness on! (The fact that I have to fit into a big white dress in 6 months doesn’t hurt the ol’ motivation either.)

Tonight’s workout looked something like this:

15 minutes on the exercise bike

100 sit-ups (I complained the whole time)

30 squats

60 pushups

Most girls have a very hard time doing pushups so they do “girl pushups” from their knees. For some reason I have never had a problem doing them and I actually love them! It may have something to do with the fact that I’m only 5’2 so there isn’t a whole lot to push up.

Now that I’m feelin good its time for BLN! 🙂
