Holy Prednisone, I’m Going Crazy

I have done enough venting to innocent people today so I will spare everyone the details of my afternoon and stick to the positives! All I’m gunna say is that when it rains it pours and I feel up sh**’s creak without an umbrella.

After work I headed to the gym for a quick workout that looked something like this:

I was feeling great after my workout and I was a hot sweaty mess when the clouds formed…..

Remember a few months ago when my car was playing automotive Russian roulette with me? Well its being coy again and refused to start post gym. As I waited for AAA I had a complete meltdown on the phone with an innocent bystander aka mommy, and threw one hell of a pity party for myself. There were tears, kicking and public screaming. Yes I had a 3 yr old moment or two. Sometimes it’s necessary folks.

My mom assures me that it’s a side effect of the Prednisone but I have been an emotional basket case lately and sooo mentally out of it. I did an entire load of laundry the other night WITHOUT any soap….. Thank god I only have two days left!

Post meltdown I walked to Subway for an impromptu dinner. A 6 inch ham and cheese on wheat bread with which I consumed on the hood of my dead car.

It was $3.50 and worth every penny!

Eventually my car was temporarily restored and hopefully by the end of the week it will be reliable!

Any fangbangers out there? Trueblood was excellent last night and I am so pumped for this season. I mean come on!

  1. Your pizza and sub looks delicious!
I’m sorry you had a bad day. 😦 If I wasn’t states away down the east coast I would’ve come to help. Not that I know how, but I would’ve eaten a sub loaded with avocado on the hood next to you for support. 🙂
