I wanted to take a second to thank everyone who has been taking an interest in my little corner of the world. 🙂
Yesterday morning I had a fantastic farm share omelet, some watermelon, and a cup of hazelnut coffee!
- 2 egg whites
- frozen mixed veggies
- green shallots
- swiss chard
- chopped tomatoes
- 1/2 slice American cheese
I drizzled a little bit of ketchup on top. Delish! I successfully used up the rest of the produce from last week’s farm share just in time!
Yesterday we received our 4th shipment of produce from Bobbin Farm.
Look at the size of that zucchini! I wasted no time putting these veggies to good use!
Last night’s dinner:
A salad and a very ripe nectarine.
- mixed greens
- leftover haddock
- Topped with salsa and Ken’s Light Italian dressing
I love using leftovers. 🙂
This farm share is really coming in handy during detox week. I am still staying strong and monitoring my food intake. I also have developed a little trick to curbing extra eating. When I start craving extra calories I brush my teeth or mouthwash. The thought of eating ANYTHING after doing that is a total turnoff for my tummy. Just to clarify, I only do this after I have already eaten my meals and am having ridiculous cravings. I’m not starving myself, just tricking myself a bit. :-0
