***I edited the post and hopefully you can see the pics now! ***
That last one is pretty true for me! I can’t remember the last time I actually did something on a Friday night that didn’t involve a couch and my pajamas! Trust me though, I’m not complaining.
On a semi related note, if you couldn’t tell I’m not a fashionista by ANY means. However I recently acquired a few new fall clothing items that I wanted to share with you all.
From my fairy godmother:
(sorry the coloring kinda stinks)
I particularly love the last one because I don’t have anything else that’s this color! I always see blondes wearing yellow and I love how it looks but I never think to buy it when I’m shopping. 75% of my clothes are blue or black. I love having some new colors to model! 🙂
And this one I picked out myself at Marshall’s this past weekend for $30!
My first pleather jacket! Yup I’m a badass now. I immediately fell in love with this jacket and when I saw the price it sealed the deal! I am going for the Emma from Once Upon A Time look.
We could be twins right?!?! lol jk
Ok on to the food!
Last night I had a few minutes in between running and volleyball so I opened the fridge to assemble something and look what I found?!
Got to love bonus chicken! I think this was actually from last week? IDK but it passed the smell test. So I quickly opened the freezer and pulled out all our veggies for a stir fry.
- Frozen spinach
- frozen bell pepper blend from Trader Joe’s
- frozen mixed veggies from Shaw’s (carrots, corn, peas, green beans, and lima beans)
I also found this baby hiding behind the frozen tenderloins and
I microwaved the rice while the veggies and chicken were warming up on the stove and then about 7 minutes later, dinner was served!
I’m telling you, it doesn’t get much easier. And if I had to slap a price tag on it, it probably cost $3.50 to make and it fed about 4. (2 1/2 if one of them is Nolan) The leftovers are actually today’s lunch.
Alright everyone, hope your Friday is quick and painless so we can head onto the weekend. I actually have a few fun things going on again this weekend including a wedding and a concert! Unfortunately the Pats have a bye week so idk what we will do with ourselves Sunday!
What are your weekend plans?
