WIAW: Colorful Treats

Good morning! We are half way through the work week, thank god!

Peas and Crayons

This weekend I tried my best to eat a variety of different colors. How did I do?

BREAKFAST:

Fried egg (runny) on Arnold bread with ketchup, salt and pepper and two little clementines.

LUNCH:

Progresso light chicken dumpling soup

There was recently another sale on salmon so as always, we stocked up. $4.99 lb.

Nolan grilled the salmon and marinated it in his homemade mango kiwi hot sauce. It was sweet, tangy and spicy which really complemented the fish well.  We microwaved one of those Green Giant Steamer bags on the side, broccoli cheese and rice.

DESSERT:

With some of my leftovers from this weekend’s baking, I made hot chocolate stirrers!

Got to love Pinterest!

When added to the hot cocoa everything, including the candy cane melts into a swirly goodness. It really went perfectly with one of my hot cocoa rice Krispie treats!
